We received information from GM that all GM products produced between 1999 and 2003 in their truck line have a defective mirror spring. Because it is common to fold mirrors during the wash process, it is possible for the mirror to snap off its spring when contact is made with the equipment. We try to ask everyone. 

A couple of reasons...first, if the bed is dirty, there is a possibility that our equipment can get dirty and affect the way it washes subsequent vehicles. Another, is that debris from the bed can fly around and damage YOUR vehicle at the end of the wash when the blow dryers come on. 

We may look funny waving, but we're actually signaling our video surveillance cameras to indicate damage to your vehicle. By doing this, we can eliminate most false claims against damage allegedly caused by the car wash.
